The BCHL has announced roster additions for both the College Prospects Game and the Canada vs. World Game as part of All-Star Weekend Jan. 16 and 17 in Spruce Grove, Alta.
- Sherwood Park Crusaders defenceman Jude Bray has been added to Canada’s roster for the Canada vs. World Game
- Chilliwack Chiefs forward Nico Grabas has been added to Canada’s roster for the Canada vs. World Game
- Chiefs forward Boris Borin has been added to Team Coastal’s roster for the College Prospects Game
- Cowichan Valley Capitals forward Gavin Nemis has been added to Team Coastal’s roster for the College Prospects Game
- Nanaimo Clippers defenceman Landon Pappas has been added to Team Coastal’s roster for the College Prospects Game
The league also announced that Capitals forward Anthony Hall has been named an alternate captain for Canada, Blackfalds Bulldogs forwards Nikita Ivashchenko and Thomas Neu have been named alternate captains for Team World and West Kelowna Warriors forward Ruslan Jamaldinov has also been named an alternate for Team World.
The following players will no longer participate in the event:
- Chiefs defenceman Olivier Beaulieu has joined Northern Michigan University and will no longer play for Canada or Team Coastal
- Victoria Grizzlies forward Samuel Rousseau has left the team and will no longer play for Canada or Team Coastal
- Alberni Valley Bulldogs forward Jacob Terpstra has joined the University of Alaska-Anchorage and will no longer play for Team World
- Capitals forward Gavin Rocha sustained an injury and will not be able to play for Team Coastal
